Welcome
Teresa Tedder is the musician-in-residence and music instructor at St. Catharine College , Springfield, KY, and the executive director and conductor of Mid-Kentucky Arts there. She is also the composer/conductor for the musical drama, "Hoofprints on the Stairs," and is the 2007 commissioned composer for the Kentucky Music Teachers Association.

Teresa has been arranging music for more than 30 years. Audiences are always moved and inspired by her original arrangements of well-known hymns and gospel tunes. Her music is passionate and virtuosic but appeals to the heart and the emotions. Her skillful weaving of classical elements into simple tunes is superb. Her arrangements appeal to young and old--she takes familiar songs of our childhood church days and adds contemporary styling that is fresh and vibrant.

In addition to her duties at St. Catherine, Teresa is a professional musician--she composes, arranges, conducts and performs many recitals and concerts.  She also performs extensively with Joanna Ximenes as a piano duo. Their repertoire includes sacred, Brazilian, American, folk and popular, as well as the western European composers.
